what to expect

"Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable."

All of my characters are spoiler friendly. I usually stick to low-powered, medium fantasy characters with a depth that I pull from interesting media or my own experiences. While I believe lore compliance is necessary to a degree, I do not treat it as law and more like a set of base guidelines and encourage others to do the same. That being said, I do break out of my own mold occasionally - from an isekai'd character to eldritch monsters, my creative process takes me anywhere from a simple adventurer to something extraordinary.

Sedrick Lumere

"Everything starts from Point A."

The character closest to my heart. I pour my interest in kink into him, along with personal flavors of mortality, attachment, impostor syndrome, family dynamics, decadence/royalty and the need to be in control. Despite my preference for writing low powered characters, Sedrick has quite a lot of power in his own way in his skill of assuaging high powered entities to do his will. He is my WoL in MSQ canon and my most used character.

Aster Peregrine

"Have I done as you desired? Have I emboldened your sickly spirit?"

A puppet / mammet made for the purpose of soul transmutation, but became something else entirely. Topics I had in mind when fleshing out the character were lack of identity, finding purpose, and discovering humanity. Aster was largely inspired by the Doll from Bloodborne and Barbie from Barbie movie, I swear I wrote this character before learning about Lies of P.

"When I think about how much my sister suffered... it's too much to forgive."

Yoshiwara is a place I have familial ties to via my paternal great-great-grandfather. I wondered what it was like to be the oiran sitting behind the paper screen, and tried to make a character that accurately depicted their experience... through the eyes of a child who became disillusioned of the glamour, choosing to become a shinobi in order to avenge their mentor.

Caelus the Deathscourge

"No secrets among Blood Lords, am I right?"

A necromancer/bard isekai'd from the world of Pathfinder 2E into FFXIV. Caelus (heaven) is intended to be a mirror reflection who accidentally switched places with his real world counterpart, Gaius (earth) in the universe. Despite being a bard, I make it a point to actively avoid writing him in NSFW circumstances.

Oceanic Ganymede (Alnair)

"As futile as it is, your resilience almost seems... Heroic."

One of very few high powered characters I write. Initially, the idea centered around an octopus character with high intelligence and emotion sensitivity, but I began toying with the concept of deep sea/eldritch horror of an anglerfish and its antennae. Wanting to keep the element of emotion sensitivity, I decided to write Alnair as a cosmic alien dynamis eater, "treating" high stress and anxiety through pseudo therapy.
